Misk Academy UX | UI Design Bootcamp

Project duration: 2 Weeks

Team: Lama, Arwa, Hussain, worood

This is our third project with Misk Academy and it focus on tourism in Saudi Arabia and as more people come to experience and enjoy Saudi Arabia, we wanted to make that process easier for them by finding the best way to showcases and highlight what the city we were assigned to [Jeddah] has to offer in culture, art, scenery, history, entreatment and food.

Problem statement

Locals and International individuals face a difficulty in plaining trips to discover Jeddah and its sights due to lack of information which leads them to missing out on the real Jeddah experience

We wanted to focus our website on national and international visitors so accordingly for our research we reached out to both so we can get a better understanding of their pain pointes and struggles and their motivation, needs and habits.

Findings:

In order to make the website better we had to contain [ Craft trips, virtual tours, book a class, a filter bar, photos and events]

Findings:

1-Its hard to find a platform that recommends a plan for you

2-Most apps do not verify local guides by the government.

Findings

Most of our competitors have a problem with Memorability, and that’s mainly because they have so many information in the pages.

Findings:

1- users use websites to search about cities more than applications

2- International and local users would like to visit Jeddah for an hour by taking the virtual trips and experiences

Site map
Task flow

1- Adding more features that some users recommended while testing our website such as “recommended places by influencer”

2- Working more into the community feature to be able to share your best moments with your friends

Conclusion

This was such a fun project that I’ve got to learn so much from, and it was such a pleasure working with an amazing team mates!
